Welcome To BAASH Open 2020

To launch our BAASH Open 2020 tournament we are sharing our initial details and expected timelines below #FirstToLast 

CAPSL is hosting an online tournament of MOBILE LEGENDS AND BRAWL STARS from 14th November until 12th December on BAASH.
The tournament will be free to enter across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan. A total of 10 influencers will join in and represent the team captains of the top 10 teams, competing for over US$6,000 prize pool.


NOV 2: Tournament Registration Opens

  • Tournament registration is now open! Team up with your friends and join before it’s too late! 
    • Android users can download BAASH here (link)

NOV 16-23 – Stage 1: Qualifiers

Structure
  • One open leaderboard tournament will be available per country
  • Each leaderboard will be capped at 512 teams
  • Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia will compete in Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB)
    • Each team must have at least 5 players, teams with fewer than 5 players will be removed from the tournament before matches begin
  • Hong Kong & Macau, Taiwan, will compete in Brawl Stars
    • Each team must have at least 3 players, teams with fewer than 3 players will be removed from the tournament before matches begin
Tournament Rules
    • Each team will randomly play against another team on the same leaderboard, game modes will vary between game titles or region
    • Winning a match will gain 2 points, drawing a match will gain 1 point for both teams, and losing a match will have no effect on your points
    • Top teams with the most points on each leaderboard when Stage 1 is finished will automatically advance to Stage 2
    • The number of teams qualifying for the next round will be different:
      • Philippines: 30 teams 
      • Malaysia: 20 teams
      • Indonesia: 20 teams
      • Singapore: 10 teams
      • Hong Kong: 10 teams
      • Taiwan: 10 teams

 

NOV 30-DEC 4 – Stage 2: Semi-Finals

Structure
  • One open leaderboard tournament will be available per country
  • Each leaderboard will be limited to those who qualified from Stage 1
Tournament Rules
  • Rules for Stage 2 will be similar to Stage 1
  • Each team will randomly play against another team in the same leaderboard, game modes will vary between game titles or region
  • Winning a match will gain 2 points, drawing a match will gain 1 point for both teams, and losing a match will have no effect on your points
  • Top teams with the most points on each leaderboard when Stage 2 is finished will advance to the Grand Finale on December 12th, 2020
  • A total of 10 teams will advance to the Grand Finale
Influencer Participation 
    • Every team that advances to the Grand Finale will be assigned a BAASH Open Influencer (“Influencer”)
    • The Influencer will represent as the team captain, and will play all matches during the Grand Finale
    • Qualified teams will need to decide which team member to be replaced by the Influencer on their own

 

DEC 12 – Grand Finale

BS Division – Finals
  • 8 teams across SG/MY/PH/IN will play head to head against each other in brackets style. In the first round, matchups will be randomly chosen ahead of time by CAPSL
  • The game mode played here will be 5 versus 5 (5v5) mode
  • The Influencer will represent as the team captain and will play all matches during the Grand Finale 
  • Matchups will be played in best of one (BO1) in the first round, best of three (BO3) in the second round
  • During the finals, the matchup will be played in the best of five (BO5). While the Third place placement match will be played in best of three (BO3.)
    • The Finals will have a Ban / Pick (BP) phase
BS Division – Finals
  • The winners of each leaderboard from Stage 2 will team up with their corresponding influencer, and play against each other for the first BAASH Open Brawl Star Champion
  • The matchup with being a series of best of five (BO5) matches
  • The five matches will play a series of different game modes in the following order:
    • Match 1: Gem Grab
    • Match 2: Brawl Ball
    • Match 3: Gem Grab
    • Match 4: Brawl Ball
    • Match 5: Gem Grab

Rules & Instructions

Mobile Legends Bang Bang - Southeast Asia

(Philippines/Indonesia/Malaysia/Singapore) 

  • 1 win = 2 points | 1 draw = 1 point
  • Players must originate or reside in their selected regions
  • Grand finals will be in a bracketed format
  • Teams have 10 min upon lobby creation to enter and begin the game, failure to do so will result in disqualification
  • Teams must match the registered roster in the BAASH Mobile App Platform, any changes of the in-game name have to be informed to the admin before the tournament begins
  • No pause is allowed
  • No chat all / No radio all
  • BAASH is not responsible for any latency issues (lag) face by players, the match carry on regardless
  • All teams must consist of 5 players, incomplete roster will not be eligible for the tournament
  • The winning team will capture the end game result
  • Captain will report the end score via BAASH
  • KOL must play in all rounds of the tournament (grand-finals)
  • Team + KOL must decide who will play the first round of grand finals (Best of 1)


Brawl Stars - East Asia

(Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan)

How To Use BAASH?

1. Join A Tournament

Select BAASH Open tournament (your country) by clicking the image of the tournament and click PLAY.

2. Get Ready

Once the tournament is ready, tap “I'm Ready” > "OK, let's go" and wait for your opponent to be ready.

3. Start Match

Once both players appear as ready, tap LETS BAASH and click start now, BAASH will now record your gameplay. 

(Make sure to input your MLBB/Brawl Stars ID into BAASH settings > game accounts). 

4. Submit Your Result

After your match, tap the yellow BAASH Button and click WIN/LOSE/DRAW for BAASH to submit your results into the app.

5. Play Again

Go back to the tournament and click get ready to battle your next opponent to work your way up the leaderboard!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I sign up to participate? I want to register to compete.

All information regarding registration, dates, and rules can be found on the BAASH mobile platform, and by reaching out to our tournament support team on Discord and Facebook.

I don’t have a team, can I still register?

Feel free to join our DISCORD channel to team up with other MLBB/Brawl Stars players looking for a team, BAASH is all for creating a community of gamers!

I am not from one of the selected countries, can I still join?

We prefer you are from one of the selected countries however if you are located near the regions, feel free to use a VPN to enter the tournament near your country.

I don’t know how the app works, who do I contact?

Contact our staff via our Discord or Facebook channel, we are more than happy to help.

My app stopped working, what should I do?

Try restarting the app or redownloading the app. Since BAASH is a new app, you may need to update it.
