Description of Role

You crazy-smart kids will:

  • Be a core member of a team of game industry veterans, defining CAPSL’s main product strategy and requirements, as well as being a key component of our company culture!
  • Be responsible for ideation, clarification, business feasibility and prioritisation of key product features for our mobile esports app
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Design, Development and Executive teams to gather and vet requirements
  • Work with executive staff to form best practices and methodologies across the entire product life-cycle
  • Forecast new feature impact on core business and product metrics, including reach, retention and revenue
  • Embrace others success as if it were your own
  • Be willing to encounter new and unfamiliar situations

You can handle this day-to-day:

  • Work in a highly agile environment without sacrificing clarity of requirements and feature specifications
  • Collaborate and effectively communication with different product groups to gain buy-in
  • Understand how to rapidly experiment and validate new product and feature ideas without the need for significant resources
  • Be able to create high-level UX flows and product needs to help communication with stakeholders
  • Clearly communicate product requirements in terms of business value
  • Have in depth knowledge releasing products and apps to market, with a focus on Asian distribution channels
  • Have an in depth understanding of app stores and marketplaces, plus their nuances, with a focus on Asian channels
  • Contribute ideas and clear actions on how to further CAPSL’s mission to Power the Future of Competitive Gaming
  • Own the success of each new product feature
  • Be able to forecast business impact of new features, and track their success over time
  • Have a design and/or technical specialisation
  • Understand the key metrics that drive acquisition, reach, engagement, retention, and monetization


You have:

  • At least 7 years experience designing and launching products and/or apps to market in Asia, across the full product lifecycle
  • Exceptional communication skills, both orally, written and in presenting to others
  • Expertise in excel or other forecasting tools
  • An acute ability to problem solve in a team environment
  • A passion for working in the games / esports industry
  • A passion to execute iteratively – Scrum, Agile, and Lean
  • An ability to self-start and manage your own time effectively
  • A passion for cutting edge technologies and rapid experimentation
  • Love to hack solutions
  • Some serious kick-ass score in some game no-one has ever heard of
  • Working proficiency in English


  • English – Business fluency
  • Bonus – Mandarin – Business level and above
